What's with the GiveButter tip?

This is optional. You can click the percentage, then click “Other” and enter “0.” GiveButter operates on optional tips given as a thank-you from donors for providing their platform for free. Optional tips are sent to Givebutter directly and never come out of the amount donated to Running Errands. Fees can be edited or removed by donors during the checkout process.

What’s with the processing fee?

This is optional. You can click “Edit” and uncheck “I want to cover fees.” This means the fees will be passed on to us. A standard processing fee is applied to all online transactions on Givebutter. This fee is charged by their payment processor and allows your funds to be securely deposited into Running Errands’ account, regardless of the payment method our donors choose. These fees are charged per transaction: 2.9% + 30¢ - Credit Cards & Digital Wallets (Venmo, Apple Pay, PayPal, etc.)

Why can't I donate to Running Errands directly?

We are fiscally-sponsored by Producers Hub. This means we aren't ready yet to be a non-profit (bylaws, board, accounting). As a project-based company, we're trying to work on the art and leave the business side to the pros. Producer Hub charges administrative fees of 2% of gross donations processed through Producer Hub, Inc.

What is Producers Hub?

The mission of Producer Hub is to provide independent producers and artists, at every level, with the community, mentorship, education and resources to create work, realize their full potential, and make lasting contributions to the performing arts field.

Time

Reach out if you want to be on our usher, stagehand, strike demolisher, party helper, generalist list. Theater often involves moving big things to other places. It’s often very unsexy until it’s not.

Space

Reach out if you have rehearsal or performance space or would like to co-produce a show with us. We are also interested in housing for out-of-town artists.

Knowledge

Reach out if you are a designer, fundraiser, community leader, accountant, programmer, patron of the arts, etc. #TheaterIsGesamtkunstwerk
